BA’s profit climbs up 75%

British Airways (BA) posted a profit of $545 Million for the first quarter which was a jump of 75 % YoY. This comes on a back of a 2 % reduction in sales in the comparable period. The big jump is attributed to significant cost reductions, lower tax rates in Corporate UK. Inspite of excellent financial results, it has been rated consistently as one of the worst when it comes to losing baggages, and other amenities.

Maybe its time BA ploughed back some of its money into getting efficiency and accuracy in its Operations which has sufferred lately.
