Linus Airways Leases Two BAe 146-200s

New Indonesian airline PT Linus Airways has signed a lease agreement for two BAe 146-200s with BAE Systems Regional Aircraft. The two aircraft will be delivered to the airline later this summer.

WASHINGTON (AP) - US Airways Group Inc. spent $540,000 in the first half of 2007 to lobby the federal government, according to a disclosure form. The company lobbied on legislation regarding aviation security and spending, reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration and other bills, according to the form posted online Aug. 27 by the Senate's public records office. In addition to Congress, the Tempe, Ariz.-based company lobbied the FAA and the Homeland Security and Transportation departments.
